happiness’s recipe

hey you, fresh cool dawn
Why’d you come so fast
I can’t hold my breath
drown stiff in your light

what could I, drowner
tell about the truth,
stories, and lovers,
the lightness of youth

i’ve grown pass the softness
of endless lone nights
yes, i’d biten my lips
wanted deaf, mute, tired

“living in a ghost town
come, see, and pass away”
‘ve been told lying down
“yours is an eternal day”

i would freeze my eyes
needle on my heart
one daily numb dose
a stone left to part
